Mabuchi Motor will invest PLN 360 million and, by 2023 is to employ 400 people. The plant is to launch production in the winter of 2019. “We witness the renaissance of Japanese investments in Poland. Companies from Japan, for which the most important is to maintain the quality of products, attach great importance to the competences of their employees. They choose Poland, because here they have access to qualified personnel”, says the president of PAIiIZ Tomasz Pisula. “In early December PAIiIZ organised an investment mission to Japan in the search for new projects, mainly in the automotive industry”, reveals Mr. Pisula.
Mabuchi Motor is the world’s largest manufacturer of small electric motors, producing over 1.4 billion motors annually. The company employs over 24 thousand people and holds 70% of the market for motors used with automotive door mirrors, door locks, and air conditioning damper actuators.
