Unemployment rate at 12%

The registered unemployment rate in Poland stood at 12 percent in June, according to data published by the Central Statistical Office (GUS) on Wednesday. Poland’s Labor Ministry expected the figure to be 12.1 percent. In May 2014 the unemployment rate was 12.5 percent and in June 2013 it was 13.2 percent. The number of unemployed persons declined from 1,986,700 in May to 1,912,600 in June. The number of job offers grew from 66,800 to 72,700 over that period, GUS also said. Taken from: http://wbj.pl/
